Kirstie completed her Diploma of Yoga Teaching in 2011 and her Advanced Diploma in 2015 at The Yoga Institute in Cammeray.
Having been practicing for over 20 years and teaching for 4 years, Kirstie loves to work with students to explore the therapeutic benefits of yoga to promote a healthy body and mind.
Yoga is a journey of self-reflection, using the physical body as a vehicle to improve your state of mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Kirstie invites you to bend, twist, fall, laugh, and most importantly; breathe, as the many benefits yoga has to offer are explored.
Kirstie believes yoga serves the individual, and does so through inviting transformation rather than giving information. Kirstie’s classes are based on the ‘ancient teachings’ of Sri Krishnamacharya, the Father of Modern Yoga. This unique form of non-standardised teaching adapts to suit individual needs, circumstances and goals. Students are encouraged to trust their intuition and modify the practice to navigate their personal yoga journey.
As a professional yoga teacher, Kirstie offers group and individual classes and specialises in designing and developing personal yoga practices.
